2000 Grade lining paper is typically used to protect and prepare older walls/damaged plaster for painting or new wallpaper.

As an extra thick lining paper, it is recommended for use on severely damaged and crumbling surfaces as well as hiding other imperfections such as cracks, holes and blistered plasterwork.
